Simon-Dach-Straße is a popular street in the Friedrichshain district of Berlin. It is full of restaurants of all types, cafes and little shops. The entire area is very popular with tourists and during the summer can become quite crowded. In the past 10 years, this area has experienced gentrification and it’s currently one of Berlin’s most trendiest areas. During summer, there’s room for nearly 2000 people to sit outside in the dozens of cafés and restaurants. The restaurants and shops on Simon-Dach cater to its inhabitants’ needs with quirky little shops, fancy ice cream and the obligatory selection of vegan and vegetarian eateries.
